largest layoff in FIS history. Directors, Senior directors, grunts like me, etc... maddening.

This IS a complete diaster for ability to grow and retain customers, and IS very stupid
@a4 - This is across all three business segments then? Sounds like a disaster (meaning it will hurt the business) and kind of stupid.
Got this from 2nd hand so take it with a grain of salt. My friend is close friends with a director who received information he is supposed to lead the transition in the coming months.
Basically, a lot of leadership will be laid off and replaced in India, after that, there will be major of layoffs everywhere except for India which will take over majority of the operation.
