@13w Terminated!!!!…Run while you still can and before they do this to you!!….yes definitely have been pushed around by a new manager for months since going to her team 02/2025..this new manager…who was badgering me and singling me out about every little thing until I wound up being put on a disciplinary action plan for something I shouldn’t have been…and my manager was digging for things….micromanaging to the core!!…I had been on a different managers team for 5 and 1/2 years prior to going to her team though without any issues other than not always consistently meeting my metrics but was managing as all the other care manager nurses were doing..btw that system was a joke and they were in the process finally of revamping the metrics due to the issues many HCMs had raised to management. I was blindsided even after being offered the ERP in my email while I was out on unpaid leave for two weeks after I had a house fire that destroyed the majority of my home…& I was displaced due to my home being uninhabitable & thankfully a coworker and good friend , told me about the ERP or I wouldn’t have known. They gave me a deadline until 08/04 to get an alternative office that was HIPPA compliant with internet as I had before , my fire was on 07/21. I was up and running on 08/04 after relocating to my family’s home and handling all of the fire devastation damage to greater than 80% of my home and was ready to work. My manager said that while I was out I missed my mid year review and it had to be done asap and scheduled it for 08/05…was kept busy with emails and educational/ethics or whatever CBTs she could throw my way so I didn’t have time to focus on accessing the ERP email and was going to accept on the next day 08/05…but was blindsided under the ruse of the mid year review and 1:1 early that morning 08/05… as soon as I logged on and was met by an HR person and my manager via teams chat call , who proceeded to terminate me and was made to log off immediately and then was unable to accept my ERP!!!…ridiculous!!!..what a waste of my time and effort there for 6 years with the exception of the benefits!!….Run don’t walk because Humana doesn’t care about you or your family nor their members/patients they serve ..it’s all about $$$$ that they can make from the employees selling CW pharmacy to people!!!…what a ridiculously shameful way to make people do your dirty work and calling it part of your metrics!!! Humana has become money hungry like every other corporate entity!! No caring for the member’s wellbeing at all and thankfully there are nurses like myself of 22 plus years that take care of the members who actually do give a cr-p about them and their wellbeing and healthcare needs!!! RUN!!!

Humana and other corporations has cracked the code for corporate profit: replace employees with contractors. No benefits, no retirement plans, no pesky labor protections—just cheap, disposable labor. The savings? Funneled neatly into executive bonuses.

It’s a win-win—if you’re an executive. For everyone else, it’s just another lesson in how “efficiency” is corporate-speak for “we found a way to pay you less.”

Been noticing a lot more contractors in our work loads recently. I doubt that is a good sign for us.
