I'm not among those who hate Nike. I've had some good and some bad years here, like any with any job. I do recognize that this is not the same company it was a decade ago, and I wouldn't mind continuing my career somewhere else. As long as severance is decent, I'm okay with being laid off.

How much is good enough?
Talk to HR and see what they can work out for you. I had a friend who was able to do so and it worked out well for her.
