Dragging out the very FIRST question and taking THREE people to give their version of the answer, definitely a stall tactic AND to absorb time.

What a joke!
Full Stop.

They are not going to answer those questions. They will give you a generic, “our initiatives are working and we are better together.” And chase it with a “We’re out of time. Keep doing the great job you are doing.”

I don't want to sound mean, but aren't some of these questions excessively uh, d-u-m-b?

Like the guy asking if they will consider bringing pre-Medicare retiree healthcare subsidies back?

Do you really think that has any snowball's chance in heck of ever even being considered, on any level?

And the old, "what metrics are you using to gauge the success of RTO..." or variations of that. No one is going to answer that. There are no metrics. You know this. They know this. They know that we know that they know this.

You guys think too much. Do you think they do not know everyone was not happy after many rounds layoff? Tracking people hour? They want to make you unhappy and leave. Your opinion really matters?

“Culture” and “Convergence” will be the buzzword words of the day.

Each time you hear them understand that the company is saying “you can go F-k yourself “.

I was in a skip level q&a thrice.
1st - Austin McKinzie - I was told to keep my mouth shut and I did. Others believing he wanted to know issues were crucified and Austin stomped out labeling our meeting a group of mal contents.
2nd - Randy Stevenson - I was ordered to attend and keep my mouth shut. He had plants in the audience asking easy quetions.
3rd - Christopher T. Rice - I know this Moe and I refused to go. This guy is so d-mb he cannot walk and chew gum.

Moral of story. Don't go and if you do - keep your mouth shut.

Unfortunately, no one will ask the tough questions in fear of being singled out and fired. Has anyone noticed that we have not had an employee survey for a very long time??? No wonder........, they do not want people to actually say what they feel and for this info to make it all the way up to the top plastic heads and possibly the board of directors as well. It doesn't look good for them.

All I know, is that they are ruining AT&T and the good place it once was to work at.

Why do you feel the need to monitor people with decades of experience like middle schoolers with your broken presence report?

Do you realize how much this is poisoning the culture and driving distrust of leadership?

Since we are so obsessed with 8 hours in office is it now ok to leave and stop working after 8 hours even during outages, iPhone launches etc?

^^^^^^^Why are you posting these HERE?^^^^^^^^^^

There's a link to submit your questions on the meeting invite and in the email....

" Maybe it was a mistake. Most of the time the questions are anonymous so it really su-ks if she didn’t realize her ATTUID would be published"

I hope not, as it states very boldly and clearly that your UID will be attached to your question(s).

McKinsey survey wasn't for the employees. Read closely.

Your participation will enable us (as in C-suite)

Following the survey, results will be shared so that we can create informed plans (notice it doesn't say shared with employees. Employees aren't the ones creating these informed plans).

McKinsey survey results? LOL. they haven't finished editing it to their liking yet. Everyone I know including myself know what it would contain if the employees answered honestly.

“I am not admitting anything. I am saying that if you "want" to stay employed here, that's probably not the best tactic (calling out your Boss in a public forum to which your UID is attached). Maybe she doesn't want to stay employed here. If so, good on her.”

Maybe it was a mistake. Most of the time the questions are anonymous so it really su-ks if she didn’t realize her ATTUID would be published. Typical sc-m move by AT&T these days. If she did know and decided to post anyway, yes, good on her. Sometimes it’s better to burn out than fade away, especially at the hands of these monsters.

You want my ATTUID? No. Absolutely not. I would be relinquishing my ability to fight these a--holes tooth and nail, calling them out for what and who they are, every step of the way. For the record, in my time here, I’ve called out every person that’s ever harmed or tried to harm my career. I’ve called them out to their face and in internal public forums. I don’t ever start trouble, but I do make sure that trouble knows my name and what it’s up against in case circumstances force me to defend myself.

OK, so what's your UID?

I am not admitting anything. I am saying that if you "want" to stay employed here, that's probably not the best tactic (calling out your Boss in a public forum to which your UID is attached). Maybe she doesn't want to stay employed here. If so, good on her.

" The McKinsey survey was not for employees."

You are 1000% incorrect, and I have a feeling you are the same dunce that posts this every single time it comes up.

It absolutely WAS for employees.

The CEO himself strongly urged all management to take the survey in a Feb 2024 email entitled: "Take our 2024 Culture Survey – help shape our future".

In the email he stated:

"The OHI survey is well-recognized among top companies and provides an established benchmark against 2,500+ other organizations. Your participation will enable us to assess ourselves internally and in comparison to other top organizations.

We’ve worked hard over the last several years to reposition the business. Now, to elevate our performance to the next level, we must build the culture we want for the future, not optimize around the one we have.

Following the survey, results will be shared so that we can create informed plans and take demonstrative actions towards accelerating our culture transformation"

^^^^^^^^^That is verbatim from said email^^^^^^^^^^^

So STOP LYING.

Anyone with 2 brain cells can deduce that the results from this thing were so horrible, and painted "leadership" in such a bad light, they simply trashed the results rather than keep their promise to share them.

So basically you are admitting that she has more ba--s than you ever will.

Ask Mcfishie about The Edict.
Once upon a time there was an ancient civilization called Mesopotamians. They their Edict in stone embedded on the side of the foothills somewhere between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers,

Their civilization would eventually fall because their laws were never followed. The people were hungry for guidance, with rules to live by, enforcing civility towards one another. But their leaders referred to their rules on the embedded stone as their Edict. Not knowing what an Edict was, the tribe would ignore the stone and eventually devolved into chaos and self destruction.

Once the civilization fell, the word Edict was seldom used in written and spoken language. As the tragic history of the Mesopotamians was forgotten, there was one man that resurrected the word “Edict.” That word and that man would show up on layoff.com.
We salute you Mr. Edict Man. The keeper of the Mesopotamian history.

They don't care!

All meaningful questions will be screened out and replaced with: "What is your favorite Ice Cream flavor" type questions.

The Stink will leave when he hits the mandatory retirement age - and then come back like Ratty for a cool $1M/year consulting contract so they can give each other head rubs.

Quit pu--y footing. That’s why they don’t respect us and treat us like dirt. We’re pathetic when we don’t ask straight forward slap in he ballz questions.

  • It’s now certain that employees are hated, when will your plan to decimate and destroy the rest of us be complete?
  • John is head of the board. Is he planning to step down as CEO, hopefully, once the stock price hit# $42?
  • Have you received any FCC or DOJ request for information related to the DEI hiring and possible civil rights violations of 50+ and Caucasian employees?
  • When will all orgs, all employees, all locations be 5 day RTO and not just the targeted employees you are trying to push out the door.
  • Are their plans to replace Jeremy Legg, our CTO with someone with a background more suitable for the job?
