Att needs to purge all the top 2 c-suite layers and start fresh. Till that happens this degeneracy, condescending attitude and treating employees like dirt will continue to happen.

Two points. When someone shows you who and what they are, you need to listen and believe them. For anyone that thought McElfresh was different than Stankey because he was once de la Vega's chief of staff, you have been proved wrong. Now you know who the truth. Act upon this information to your benefit.

So is he going to start giving up his stock options, and the benefits given to executives, but not the rest of us in solidarity, too?

Does it go the other way? Will management start getting severance that's not capped at 6 months like the union? You know, for parity?

Fock is this as..sh-t saying? Im a frontliner too, i worked through covid. Our entire organization handles tower infrastructure, without us degenerates you call us, your cash cow will collapse. We literally handle all the repair and maintenance and on top of that disaster recovery efforts all over US. Thats why our position was hybrid because we need to be flexible to be on call, to sit on long events when disasters happen. I had an assign seating even as a hybrid. Im not imagining this chit.

Fock u, Jeff. Dearly and with all of my heart. Not only you offended us, but u also sp-t on our efforts.

Redeem yourself by resigning. You dont deserve us.

“ Or will this be like the townhall where the Stank said the quiet part out loud and told us how he’s discriminating based on age?”

The invitation stated this will be a “live only event”.

To literally say union employees have it worse, but not actually trying to DO anything to IMPROVE their working environment, when he alone CAN do something, tells me everything I need to know.

This company has fallen and disgraced itself.

What an embarrassment.

Why are people taking their company phone or laptop home? It belongs to the company and should stay on company property.

You’d think after stank said “we need to look more like America” by replacing the old white guys that someone would be recording all interactions with execs. Come on. Ask ChatGPT where you could post anonymously and get it done!

Regarding closing arguments by McElfresh @ end of Open Mic——-

If C-Suite LEADERSHIP KNOWS (which he admitted) that “front line workers” have BAD working conditions at their buildings, etc. Then C-Suite LEADERSHIP should do something ABOUT IT!
Don’t put that KNOWN ISSUE that McFresh shared on fellow employees, who aren’t holding the purse strings.
Managers have been doing RTO for A LONG TIME now and LEADERSHIP STILL hasn't worked out ALL those issues! Not enough desks, etc.
Stop DEFLECTING and TRYING to put “FRONT LINE” workers and fellow employees against each other. INSTEAD, put this issue solely where it belongs on C-Suite LEADERSHIP! Look in the mirror!

““You need me to help with an urgent issue? Oh sorry I am at a family event and have no access to do that right now. Need to call me on the weekend? Sorry I was on a hike and had no signal.”

You need to be fired.“”
Nope. It’s called the company does not own me. It’s called it’s been made clear my schedule is 8 hrs in a building with a bunch of people I do not support or work with. It’s called an 8-5 job. I do my work in my assigned hours, I am not paid OT or on call pay. 40 hrs and out.

All managers who are still putting in more than 40hrs need to stop immediately. You saw today what leadership thinks of you. Put in your 40 and be done. I have not been available after my 8 hour day since January and will never be again. You need me to help with an urgent issue? Oh sorry I am at a family event and have no access to do that right now. Need to call me on the weekend? Sorry I was on a hike and had no signal. Not giving this shithole 1 minute more than the 40 hours I am paid for.

I wasn’t on but did anyone here record or transcribe the last five minutes of the call when it sounds like JM took to insulting our mgmt employees? Willing to go public with it because frankly that’s the only lever we have to pull - complaining here certainly hasn’t achieved much of anything. Sounds like a Jamie Dimon type rant that ought to be exposed so everyone outside the company can get a sense of the sh— the company is trying to get away with.

The writing of this was worse than a TLC scripted "reality" show. It was so obvious that the 45 minute lectures as answers to one question were rehearsed.
And the RTO question. I would have preferred that he look directly into the camera and just tell us to go F* ourselves, because then at least we would have had one genuine response in this charade.

In a nutshell, at the tail end this “full” defends management being electronically monitored and controlled via the Presence Report and other software monitoring tools such as the Hourly Report. He defends this by saying that “everyone else”, such as frontline workers, are already monitored Hourly and reasons management is no better and should be monitored too. He also assumes that as managers, we’re so elitist and spoiled that we should shaddup about Poor RTO conditions at various building sites because front line workers have it WORSE and we think of ourselves as “too good” to work in run down buildings and facilities. He clearly thinks much of “front line employees “ and nothing of Management. A truly worthless man

My coworker was so upset at what McElfresh said about RTO workers that I had to help calm her down. Y’all didn’t do anything to help managers with RTO and now you’re blaming us for the fiasco? Seriously some stoopid sh-t was said at the tail end of the show. What an absolute baby he is. Probably hates women. Can’t stand him

McElfresh was angry at us because of his own failure to successfully implement a return to office policy. What did he expect? That employees would put up with whatever was done to them without questioning any of it? This is all on You McElfresh. Poor planning- no planning in carrying out RTO, that’s on you ! Seriously he should be fired

Mr McElfresh: don’t bother inviting me to another Town Hall- Open Mic session. I won’t be attending. I think you should be fired for insulting all managers the way that you did. Do I like RTO? Not really, but it was the EXECUTION of the policy that should have landed people like you, at the unemployment office. No plan whatsoever. And Disrespecting your audience today by insinuating we’re all a bunch of over paid for nothing ingrates was disgraceful. I think someone should contact the news media /podcasters with your contemptible behavior. Good night

Jeffie, I am not imagining this. The first 25yrs with the company I had an assigned cubicle to make my own, then 8 yrs of WFH, spending hundreds of my own money on furniture, monitors, ergonomic equipment. YOU got me used to that life of relative comfort, then you get angry when I don’t like being told to grab a seat at a cafeteria style table if I can find it? Abusive behavior. Student of Stank.

I cannot believe what I witnessed at the McElfresh open mic. He had No Business talking to me that way. I’ve worked hard here at ATT for many years.
Do I have a right to be heard and complain when it’s warranted?
You bet I do.
I saw a pompous azzz with a massive ego insult the men and women managers who’ve helped build and maintain this once great company. Grow up dude.

Wasn’t this an open town hall with encouragement to “engage”? Well we did engage and when I watched the town hall, the most upvoted question was given the least priority. In fact the great innovator chose to address a question from a woman who was clearly planted. She asked “when should I get my kids a phone great innovator?. I ask because you are the greatest leader ever”. How many minutes did he spend on this question?

His response today just reiterates that he has absolutely no clue what his most profitable employees do for him and the amount of hours they spend bringing in the revenue that he said he needs. We are not working in “zones” in a van. We cover an International zone. We work 24/7 and darn close to 365. These jobs were flexible BEFORE covid due to the nature of the unpredictable and demanding hours and travel. We bring in more contracts. We work Internationally to create AI solutions that benefit the bottom line. We bill, we service, we support. We ARE the front line, too - dummy. Pitting your teams against each other is the inexperienced response of a selfish person who doesn’t bother to attempt to understand how much we do for the Customers.

I am deeply offended.

I’ve got many years at ATT, and I can honestly say I’ve never seen anything like McElfresh’s Hostile meltdown at the end of his open mic. He should be ashamed of himself. It’s like inviting people over for a BBQ and as the party is winding down, you turn to your guests and lash out at them for being wh--es, grifters, and freeloaders. What a mess

Way to Go Team McSelfish! He saved the last five minutes to give the double “Smuck You” fingers to his audience. That’s right, he saved that double finger rant for YOU, ATT’s hard working management teams. He ranted that ONLY front line workers are worthy and that if THEY have to work in dumpy buildings with restrooms without toilet paper, WHO The heck are you to complain, kiddo ?

I think if someone recorded it, they should play it to ALL prospective employees so that they know what they’re in for if they sign up with ATT. It was embarrassing and unprofessional. Quite frankly, it was embarrassing the way that he talked to all managers

you in San Ramon I hear it is CLOSING by the end of 2025... Dallas property taxes are a bit high but there are tons of restaurants everywhere. Get used to HOT... RTO is WORSE there though as the downtown is congested unless you have a personal driver like John Stinky and Jeff McKrapfish.. I don't know about Atlanta, except its way humid there.
