I was RIF’d last year, on Tuesday, November 9th. Managers we’re told the day before or that same morning, just before Mt meeting. I was released on 12/1/21 but was paid as if I was showing up every day for the 60 day period. Severance started 1/10/22.

Sadly, if this model works, look for other companies to adapt to it, so remote nursing jobs may be fewer

I don't pay much attention to it now I'm out but there used to be a cadence. Something Like Directors told Mondays, AD and equivalent on Tuesdays Managers Wednesdays then us, the plebs Thursdays. At least that's how I recall getting it. At each level there would be an HR meeting for the doomed and they got the reminder of the day to compose before their teams got hit.
Also, seems to always happen Tues-Thurs of the week. Monday everyone is on edge and Friday everyone is confused. I guess it comes straight out of an HR playbook? That’s how it’s been in marketing anyway. Fingers crossed two marketing “leaders” are among the 700. Then, maybe we can get back to being a team that isn’t pitted against one another anymore.
Every post is either this coming week or next. Wish there was a certain time. The uncertainty is the worst!
