The network can’t grow without the project management engineers.
Good question? What time is this happening and I wonder if there are reorganizations taking place and when we would find out about them.
What time will the big announcement happen. I don't want to miss it.
Every program project manager should be let go first, these people get all the promotions and add zero value, “is it done yet?” adds no value
Which Engineering team(s)?
Engineering and planning
VBG and GE have been bleeding money. This year alone GE didn't make their numbers once, terrible numbers both wire line and wireless, they cut Sales last year in the OCT RIF so now its the top heavy marketing and "enablement" groups where every person is titled manager. Yup there are Teams of 8 people for example and every person is a manager that "manages" no one this makes zero sense and if sales hasnt made their numbers, what exactly has operations/enabalement enabled???? hmmmmm
Verizon Business is affected and will have RIFs
Verizon Business is making money? What planet are you on?
Why does everything at Verizon have to be so "cloak and daggar"?
In Basking Ridge we are hearing Verizon Consumer will be hit hard (mostly Wireless Stores and Wireless Support) and Verizon Corporate (any roles that can be done offshore will be eliminated). The only group remaining untouched or touched lightly seems to be Verizon Business since they are making money for the company.

3rd Party- PWC. Program is part of “Fit to Win”
They are keeping it more secret than ever before. No one knows who’s being impacted, all guesses and speculation. We will all find out tomorrow at the same time. I believe the reason for this secrecy is because directors, DMs, and senior managers are not the ones making the decisions. Either third party consulting company or higher ups that sit in NJ or maybe some other department not directly related to the impacted channels. This is reducing the likelihood of info leaks. That’s why no one knows which areas or how deep. We will know no later than about 20 hours from now. Good luck to all!!
Simply an educated guess based on what meetings I’m suddenly seeing canceled today/tomorrow/Friday… retail in some sense. Maybe ops, maybe sales.
