Nothing new. Cowardly and ineffective managers have always chosen to ignore and sideline people rather than do the work to develop and improve their employees.
It plays out in my marketing group every day.
I know. Really. Reminds me of Fight club. Outside consultant, but no work. Lol.
Given that quiet firing just means you're slowly being sidelined in hopes that you'll quit, I would LOVE to be quiet fired.
I would never quit a job for being given less work!
