Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

The jig is up

Some of you thought you could ride the gravy train without doing your fair share of work. FB's team put a swift end to the deception. Some still slipped through the cracks; he'll get you in the next round of layoffs. It'll be nice once Fiserv is running 100% lean and without fluff - the hard workers that remain will be rewarded handsomely.

Spoken like a true Mckenzie MBA consultant who only has book knowledge and no real answers for the real corporate world. Seen it too often but they get away with it for their "privacy " rules for destroying the world!

Trying to determine if this is a real post or one to get reactions. If real, the OP doesn’t realize that he’s on the chopping block too. Clearly, he has no clue who was cut and how FB let knowledge go. Now everyone is struggling to figure out how to support clients, do reporting, etc. Things being dropped on the floor because the knowledge was not transferred or the people now supporting didn’t care to learn or know. Clients will suffer big time.

Is the “handsome reward” for remaining a HR phrase for your severance at your RIF?

Hooray!! The troll is back. I guess they didn’t get laid off. Or they did but their job was picked up by the next unfortunate one.

Hey OP, post about how Team CBUS is traveling to NJ and making the best fintech by collaborating face to face in office.
And with earnings coming out how about some of the ride the rocket tales. I mean it has to be kinda blasting off, no? Stock price is almost 100 again. For the dozenth time I think.

"fair share of work" as if that has anything to do with compensation or performance reviews.

Fiserv grades employees by: are they in new jersey? are they in the office? do they pretend to work? thats all. "fair share" is such a joke.

Also "gravy train" as if... let me know when our salaries get adjusted for inflation

Come on. We all know that your comment about running 100% lean is cr-p. This must be a HR post to make you drown in the company kool-aid

No one is d-mb enough to have posted this with any sincerity. The poster is either being super sarcastic (which I would normally enjoy) or is being a troll.

You know what they say, the loudest that seek attention are the weakest. Fiserv Bank Solutions was ten times the company First Data ever was. You’re blind loyalty to a failed regime that got lucky they were rescued by Yabuki is pathetic.

I can tell you my “jig” (i think you meant gig) was 50-60+ hours a week every week and included weekends. It was a 24/7 “jig”. I slept with my phone so I would be available if I was needed. No one ever told me I was working too many hours or to scale back. I can also tell you, the cuts are so deep that is is impossible to support clients needs. Clients know it, they feel it, and they are outraged. They expect more and they certainly deserve more. How long do you think it will take before the clients sue Fiserv or give notice to deconvert? The word is out. Clients know this is a stunt to lower overhead to artificially inflate margins and it’s being done at their expense. You know who else knows it? Our competition and they are using it to their benefit. It’s incredibly sad to see this once great company go down the drain.

You're right! Who needs support and service people? They're useless. Oh and product managers and developers? What a waste. Trainers? Nope, another waste of money.

The future looks lean and bright...

I literally did the job of three other team members by the end. I got cut first because I'd been with the company the longest.

Are you just trolling here for comments? He is laying off key, highly productive, hard workers. Good luck in that “lean“ Fiserv for however long it survives. I was proud to call Fiserv home for 10 years. This guy has quickly ruined this company in record time.
