How do you rif someone with dignity? Here is your rif? Is he hand delivering with a sorry in person?
30% cut coming upper level managers will be cut soon
@zja+1jjuFelk probably a good idea to audit everything to do with Infosys in general.
Get rid of all the pseudo CIOs and VPs in IT and centralize IT under a one and only one real CIO (not SA) in Craig's new org. Sell Verizon India to Infosys.
He wants to cut $2-$3 billion in costs. Where does one always go to cut costs? You guessed it...YOU. Take it as a blessing and do something you love. Follow your heart and turn off your brain people.
Yea, with a robust 8,000 net adds in Q3 the sales teams should be safe from any RIF.
“ They can’t afford to lose sales people” says the salesman. chuckle. You think you can influence a decision with a remark here? Delusional🤪
What types of VBG jobs will be cut? I imagine it will all be call center employees.
They can’t afford to lose sales people.
Verizon is way, way, overstaffed. We could cut 30K and not miss a beat. Hans will probably cut 2500 and call it a day.
Get treated like cr@p all year round but will get treated with respect and dignity when they show you the door ! Just spendid !
My takeaway was that yes, there would be layoffs but that they would not be as significant as had been speculated on this board. I forget how Hans expressed it but something to the effect that it would not be a huge number. My boss did confirm to me today that our team within VBG is impacted though, so there's that…
I wish they would ask for volunteers.
@zxa+1jjuFelk go watch the replay and find out for yourself. Anyone who is actually an employee can go rewatch the Q&A section.
I don’t care who gets laid off as long as Andy keeps making videos with Hanz and mommy
But don't worry they will handle it with dignity and respect!
The specific question was asked "will there be layoffs this year" and his answer was "yes there will be adjustments and they will be transparent and done with dignity". Let's see if that is true.
I missed the Up To Speed, but no way Hans would confirm that.
There you go folks. No need to keep asking here if there will be layoffs.
