Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Why I love Wells Fargo.

  1. My wife and 12 children are healthy and happy.
  2. Thanks to WF, 8 of my children graduated with honors from the university.
  3. When times were tough 14 years ago, the company stepped up and helped subsidize our family in a time of need.
  4. Now, 4 of my children have good paying positions and WF.
  5. WF made me the person I am today. I’ve become wiser and learned a good business education.

Clients come and go. Team members come and go.
Families are forever.

I agree. I miss Wells. The work life balance was great. My new position is so stressful, and I work evenings, and weekends. Pay is better, but I may not live long with all of the added stress, and bearacracies.

For those of us who really don’t know what we want to do, but would like to have the biweekly paycheck and annual bonus, this is really a good company. I’ve learned to play the system and I play it well. I’ve learned to drown out what I hear from the executives. I now have a cushy gig. Won’t change a thing.

I tend to agree. I've stayed in this company for a good long while and its been good. My friend went into tech and consulting, he changes his sometimes twice a year. He may have moved up a bit more than me, but the guy has had to uproot his family and move to a number of times. The stability is way underrated. Also the knowledge built over time working on failed projects here as well successful projects has helped me grow.

It takes a special kind of person to “have fun” at other peoples’ expense.

C’mon on you threadbearers! Can’t you see someone’s having fun with you on a Friday? The Brady Bunch don’t work for WF.

Yes, who else can replace American worker legally? just what China ordered

Thank you Facebook, Goldman, BlackRock, WF, BOA, Disney, Microsoft, Google, and every one of our beloved brands.

Soon American currency will be just like American workers, cheers

I agree with you wholeheartedly. The negativity can be overwhelming at times. Fortunately, there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. This too will pass.

It's that same right wing troll pretending to be a welfare queen, don't look too deep into this one.

I’ve got a good thing here as well and am not looking elsewhere. It all depends on your manager and your department.
Not enough people say good things about their job, so here I am.
