Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Open Enrollment

Has anyone taken a look at the increases in medical premiums, deductibles, and OOP max? Also, $600 more for smokers. They really are squeezing everything they can out of us.

How do they verify or prove you are a smoker?

Can smell you coming down the hall or the elevator you just stepped out of.

@svt+1jhhkie2 If you think the executives on contract have the same health plan as you I have some bad news……

I just got a new internal position at wells, start next week. Starting at the very bottom of that 100-250 tier. Looking over the new changes today. Was quite the surprise.

Twisted. Making you go into an office where you have a pretty decent chance at getting sick from filthy conditions and coworkers.. and then make you pay more for your care.

People who aren’t vaccinating for Covid should pay more too. What BS.

The updated compensation categories for medical plans are disgraceful. Charlie's 20 million plus compensation puts him in the Category 4 $250,000 plus range and only paying about $15 more per pay period for the same plan than I do while scraping the very bottom of the Category 3 $100,000 - $250,000 range.

Those are excessive rates. How outrageous.

Also WF will only contribute 400 (instead of 800) to HSA if you have dependent on your health insurance.

I changed employers recently. Picked up my first prescription refill on my new plan this week. A generic, 90 day supply of commonly prescribed blood pressure pills. At WF refills cost me $50 and change. Now? $12 and change. I could not believe it - I even opened the bottle to make sure the pills were the same!

My per paycheck cost on health insurance is plus $3 difference. WF is most certainly being stingy on the employer paid side of the equation or hasn’t negotiated the best rates with the benefits manager. WF has Express Scripts and the new place has Caremark.

Smokers should pay more, it's a choice to smoke and it has an undeniable impact on people's health.

Hate to state facts again, but most companies have increased premiums for smokers. At least they still cover you. There are companies who won’t even hire you let alone cover you.
