Just got word that there WILL be a mandatory RTO policy taking place in 2025. Basically if you don't come into the office, it'll be seen as a resignation of employment.

“Just got word”??!!?? That’s strange because most LOBs stated this would happen over 11 months ago.
Was just told RTO is being disbanded. We can all feel free to RTH (home)
Chief Sr. manager of Sr. managers and middle managers and Jr. managers here. OP does not speak the truth.
F them, I really don't give an S what they, or their bootlickers, say anymore. I won't leave without a severance, and I won't give them grounds to term me. There's a 3rd option that mo--ns in the NYC ivory tower clearly can't see.
@bx+1jgpmk181, LOL!!! Unfortunately, that is the reality. When many people gather together in the same space, nothing good happens.
Better together. That’s a joke. The only we talk about is all the awful things that happen every day. If I have something to ask my boss who sits 20 feet away from me, I email him
As a fully remote tech employee whose exception was recently re-approved, LMFAO @OP
Sr. director of Sr. directors here. Only executives are exempt from RTO. If you are not an executive, you have to go to the office.
Director of directors here. No, you will not be penalized if you skip RTO.
Sr. manager of Sr. managers here. OC means Orange County.
Manager of managers of managers here. That is false.
Nah, it's countrywide, coming down directly from the President Musk himself. Best and Brightest are not yet in the country. But soon, they will all come with jobs offers.
OC - Operating Committee. OCC - Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Best and the brightest have clearly left the building.
Yep, and be consistent. Kind of like taxes, if I have to pay, everyone should pay.
I can’t believe this RTO push has been going on for nearly three years now and they haven’t dropped the hammer on compliance yet.
I hate RTO as much as everyone else and think all of the tracking, etc is a terrible waste of time, but I have also really gotten tired of all the constant reminders and empty threats from upper management. You know the individuals that are out of compliance, so address it with them directly instead of making everyone else hear it.
Better together!
manager of managers here. and yes, I do review the reports and discuss with my managers, because these reports are being reviewed at OC level and OC+1 are being told they are on the hook for this.
technically, it has been mandatory since inception - but the consequences are about to get much more methodically and consistently enforced.
There will be an immediate focus starting this month on people who are chronically under 2 days on average, and it will be managed aggressively with formal warning and then termination if not cured and stay cured.
Believe this - OC+1 have no time or patience for this cr*p so the enforcement will be swift and ruthless.
If you don’t come dressed in black tie you’re fired also - from a good source .. the best source .. the most fantastic .. they’re good people those sources
