Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

WTF is up with these CIOs on LinkedIn

We're laying off people, hiring freeze, expense issues pretty much all year. Yet I see on nearly a daily basis at least one CIO in tech posting pictures of events, meetings etc. in various cities. Do these people even work? Must be nice to just travel around and have photo ops. JFC.

PS-- I know traveling a lot sucks. That's not the point here.

Ahh must be talking about the infamous TK. Saul’s pet cheerleader. Has done nothing but layoff folks and she got an Orbie? Wells just promoted her candidacy to make her the poster child of women in tech. Someone earlier defined narcissistic behavior and she is the definition. Wonder if she really thinks everyone is falling for her dancing and self stories.

And the bullsh-t and buzzword bingo that Chintan spits is nauseating. DTI has completely become a dysfunctional org led by a maniac

Don’t you bozos realize that LinkedIn is just another form of social media? You’re foolishly uploading all your personal data. Now, it becomes public domain. Hasn’t anyone read the fine print?

Wells Fargo needs to stop horsing around and start investing heavily into time travel technology.

And/or invest in dimension traveling technology. Enable free movement between here and the fifth dimension.

Corporate America is a funny place. Most jobs could very easily be eliminated with no impact to current customers. A huge economic crash would immediately ensue. The 1%ers would easily take over the world, while they watch commoners tear each other to pieces in the streets.

Couldn’t agree more. It’s nauseating. Certain CIOs are so habitual that one must assume a highly prized internal narcissist award is up for grabs.

Someone should correlate the volume of their posts to how many times digital banking sites are crapping themselves. Executive leadership is an elusive concept here.

CIC isn’t as bad as people suggest, the free parking saves me $200 a month. Plus, I could care less about being around all the big shots in uptown!

LinkedIn is garbage nowadays. A useless tool that gives you the illusion of networking and a great way to never hear back from jobs you apply to.

The one time I visited CIC I left thinking, "That's a prison."

It’s a game. These people are self honoring themselves. It’s all fake. They show up at CIC wearing 500 dollar jeans and 2000 shoes pretending to be one of the crew. I bet they ran out of there thinking what a dump.

LinkedIn posts will not put out the dumpster fire that is Wells Fargo as hard as they try.

LinkedIn is the Facebook of work. CxO's and other executives have been asked to increase their posts so it looks like their companies are great places to work. It's a recruiting and retention tool.
