Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Insulated?

Is Stankey so insulated that he doesnt realize how much T employees hate him? He is always coming up with cute renditions on town halls, thinking he is resonating with rank and file. Most employees think it's wierd, wearing a onesey while hosting a town hall. I just wonder if he sits in his ivory tower everyday chanting "they love me, they really, really love me".

Stankey is gonna turn things around. Refocusing on communications.

A bump in the road? I guess that means the whole company is just a "bump in the road". They've wasted more than $110 billion -- that's more than the entire company's value today!

What's not to love. Paying the workers. Turning the company around. Even the onesie is a cool touch.

T has a market cap of $110B. Stop crying over spilt milk with a failed M&A strategy. They failed fast and moved on to what they know, wireless (cash cow) and broadband. Just a bump in the road.

But it's a problem when the plan results in complete failure over and over and billions are lost. When executives fail, they should be held accountable; no different than the rank and file.

Executives are not paid to be liked or care what people think. They have to make the hard decisions and execute the plan. Not personal, it's just business.

He doesn’t come up with the town hall topics and theme, his team does, the CoS and leadership team. He approves and gets briefed on what to say by the communication team. No joke

Narcissists don’t care what other people think of them because they’re too in love with themselves to care! Not to mention the money he’s making at T, I wouldn’t care either!

I'm surprised the "Let's complain again about Randy and Stankey boot li---r hasn't chimed in yet". Maybe that bobble headed clown is overworked these days.

Talk about a stuffed shirt! He knows more about everything than anyone. Just the idea that he thinks employees adore and respect him makes me want to pu-e. What a bag of cr-p.

Don’t forget free suite to any local event for him and his family.

He only cares that he only cashes a check for $25,000,000 + REAL BENEFITS.
= Jet, travel, SUV, phoneS, Internet streams, TV streams, life insurance, longevity pay, stock options with $1.00 strike price, AT&T paying his multimillion home mortgage, security, fencing, MEDICAL, booze, dr-gs clothing allowance, Land Lines, and pajama allowance.

Why would he care who likes him?

At that level, you don’t care what people think. Can’t make everyone happy.

That's because not enough people complain about him. You gotta complain more and more loudly. He thinks he is doing a good job.
