Earnings released last week show a $2 billion regulatory charge related to past sale practices scandal. What is this now, up to a cumulative $10, 20 billion paid out over last several years (since 2016)? Just read an article quoting Scharf saying this isn't the last of it.
No wonder my old boss and her corrupt higher ups were harping on us rank and file the last couple of years to tighten your belts, reduce costs, etc. etc (even though we had no responsibility for a profit or cost center), because they all knew more regulatory expenses/charges were coming, but instead it's the average Joe/Jane that pays for the INCOMPETENCE of executives and their lack of INTEGRITY! It's unfortunate more people aren't outraged. Literally, BILLIONS and BILLIONS are have already been shelled out for scandals, mismanagement and just plain old dereliction of duty by so many executives who have come and gone.
They run the show, mismanage it for years, pay billions in regulatory fines and settlements then have the AUDACITY to lecture the employees about the need to reduce costs and expenses after they've paid out BILLIONS for executive greed and incompetence the last decade. It's DISGUSTING. If it doesn't PI-S you off then you lack integrity and core values and knowledge of history and facts.
