Most management employees are now considered underinsured!
I guess we all had to chip in to keep this bi--h afloat!

What do you mean most people do not go to out-of-network Doctors?? All my Doctors are out-of-network. If you get critically ill and want to find the best doctors/surgeons for your treatment then you will find this out quickly.
It's official, received my notification today, no more elective healthcare for 2024. Everyone, except c-suite will be shoehorned into the at&t group Medicare advantage plan with United Healthcare. This will continue for 5 years. At that time the company will decide if they want to provide healthcare. We all knew this was coming.
I drive Uber part time and get better benefits.
FYI- my cousin works at T-MOBILE and showed me his plan and what he is selecting. TMO provides an EPO with only a $1k deductible. $240for 2 people per month, $140 for one. BCBS or UHC you choose. If your doctor is part of the plan you’re set.
Newsflash. The Officers have a different plan. If the plan was great they would use it. They can certainly afford the deductible and copays.
Our insurance isn’t competitive folks. Everyone I have spoken with about it, probably 7 different people all have better plans, lower deductibles and cheaper rates. Thank God my family can use my wife’s plan. She’s at a small company and has 1/3rd the deductible and it’s cheaper. That’s facts.
“I call BS this this post. Do your research, benefits that are being offered are still competitive. God help you if you ever leave AT&T and see what the real world is like.” We’ve been under insured since high deductible plans started. You pay monthly and almost the first 7K of anything other than check ups. This plan only partially covers you in case you have a catastrophic illness, otherwise you are basically out of pocket. McDonalds has better insurance.
The benchmark under the PPACA (Affordable Care Act) is that the insurance is "affordable" and meets "minimum coverage" standards.
Any indication that AT&T insurance doesn't meet both standards? No, of course not.
As usual the Stink and Santone screwed over management.
None of my current doctors are in network! NOT ONE!
But baldy can take the corporate jet to any doctor anywhere he wants!
Reaffirms it was the right call to leave Toxic-T and Stinky's $hitter.
I just love how so many employees consider the healthcare insurance options excellent.
Newsflash, the 2023 healthcare options are garbage, not quite as bad as 2022, but better than 2024 options.
Just hope you never need to use your AT&T heathcare, you will find out real quick how bad it really is.
I would agree with the OP. The health insurance next year is not good. Two of the three options do not cover anything out of network unless it is an emergency. Now I realize most people don't go to out of the network doctors, but there are plenty of situations when it might be warranted. Underinsured just means you don't have enough insurance to cover your needs. I think those two options with no out of network coverage fit that definition very well.

Reallly? Who said that?
