You shouldn't leave the house at all then. You'd be shocked how many commercial properties have asbestos. It's not a problem until it's disturbed.
Don't you think in CA of all places, the government would shutdown the building if it wasn't safe.
You must be a new employee in SF every building sends that notice out every year. 333, 525, 45, 435 all send the same letter. Stop looking for reasons not to go work and start WORKING and there won’t be lay offs.

The SF headquarters will probably be shutdown all together as none of the execs who report to the CEO go into that location they're all in other locations. There has been talk that SF headquarters will move to Irving, TX as all major financial services companies have moved headquarters out of SF, such as BofA and Schwab.

Governor Greg Abbott today announced that Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. (“Wells Fargo”) will create a new campus in Irving, Texas. Wells Fargo is a leading financial services firm that provides a diversified set of banking, investment, and mortgage products and services, as well as consumer and commercial finance. The project will create 650 new jobs and $455 million in capital investment. A Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) grant of $5,001,100 has been extended to Wells Fargo.
