The Philippine WF offices are some great locations. If you can keep your American salary, then I’d say go for it.

Don't expect to get expat salary. Cost of living is higher
Very micromanaged, IMO. All WF intranet connections are dummy terminals. All hubs in Manila are located in very nice locations. Don’t think about becoming wealthy in a WF role. Area differentials apply there, too. Try Hong Kong, instead. Much more lucrative.
