It appears they are back to enforcing 3 days a week and that bonuses will be affected for non compliance. Anyone else heard anything?

I have friends working for other large companies. One case 5 day work weeks in office. No accommodations listed anyway. One miss a warning 2 dismissal
Other large company 3 days in office (been like that since RTO last year). They are running KPI on badges and VPN. You will be warned and if you don’t get in line you will be put on a performance improvement then dismissed for failure to show up to work in person. What Good is a rule if the ones that don’t follow are not getting penalized. Forget the bonus you will eventually get a warning then fired.
Reduced bonus? Could be worth it depending on the scale of the reduction. Commuting isn't free. It really is amazing how employees try to save the company money by working remote and the company constantly s|-|its on them for it. FRTO.
every year since charlie arrived, there's been a negative surprise about evaluations and comp that pops up at the end of the year
Being in the office 3 days per week is a stated expectation of your job (unless you have accommodation, special category etc). So yes, that's my bet is that it's going to be used as a 'spoiler' for bonuses this year if you didn't adhere (for those who get bonuses). As people howl 'why didn't you tell me' the answer would be - we did tell you, you just chose not to comply.
To: @1ohl+1jcJsqh5, in bi-weekly calls with our boss, an exec, he has reporting and gives it to his directs and we’re going to individual employees who aren’t meeting the requirements.
they aren't doing sh-t
@1ohl+1jcJsqh5 Why enforce it when you can just penalize in total variable comp and save budget for the people that actually bothered to follow the guidance on coming in?
Nobody needs to tell you they are enforcing a rule that was widely disseminated. People have been not showing up at their own risk for months. They could fire them for cause if they wanted, cutting 20-50% of bonus will be a wake up call that a lot of people apparently need based on how empty the CIB offices are Mon, Thursday, and Friday every week.
Downvote away.
@ CIB DIRECTOR
When is this being shared with CIB team members? Also.... What are you doing as a director when your team isn't coming in 3x a week? Seems like some CIB directors are not enforcing it while some are.
It is a 100% dependent on department and job title. The RTO policy does keep being adjusted to accommodate high demand job titles that cannot be easy replaced. Those employees are just keeping quiet to not lose the benefit.
Just start going in until bonus and merit are paid. Then go back to doing whatever the he-l you want like most of the execs do
Charlie here. If peons aren't showing up 6 days a week your bonus will be negative 20%. Get back to work.
Again, this only applies if your management is following the JPM kiss a** playbook. Our whole org is WFH.
If you come into the office, you should be more apt to receive a bonus. Gas money spent is no small feat due to JB and his gang. Laundry, food, everything has skyrocketed.
CIB Dir. here, 100 percent true. Reporting is being shared with employees and the focus is on people who are not coming in or coming in only once a week. They are encouraging people to get into compliance; we asked about consequences and our exec said he wasn’t sure but that it could be an issue that would affect your final evaluation, bonus, etc.
Yip
It depends on the department.
OP - you say "it appears...".
What are you basing this appearance on?
Nope
