- Shamelessly self-aggrandize any and all non-verifiable experiences. For example, if you don't know Java, don't say you know Java, because that's easily verifiable. But loose, squishy things like implementing business processes is easily fudge-able.
- Never ask a question that tells the interviewing manager that you're not 100% willing to do literally anything they ask. For example, if you want to verify that the position doesn't require weekend work, find another way to verify this. You need to present yourself as a passive, willing, warm body that's perfectly happy to have a non-professional existence of task work.
- Do a Google search for situational questions. Fabricate grandiose answers, and then memorize them. During the interview, you simply recite from memory all those things that never actually happened, but will make you sound great to the interviewing manager.
