Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

There had to be a memo

Corporate must have sent some sort of memo out to the team leaders. Before the virus, we had gatherings once every few months. Now it is so often I feel like I am being used for some game called team building. I swear next time it is PTO for me. I generally like the workers but I am not naturally one to mingle.

@1zke+1jXiCc8A it's the very core of this issues. Obviously, your privileged life has left you shielded and blinded to the very meaning

The volunteer game is worse than the team building game

@jmn+1jXiCc8A What does this posting have to do with DEI?

Yeah, why isn't DE&I talked about more?

We were all wondering about your position on DE&I, you never bring it up.

To @wba+1jXiCc8A The case was in France. A French court ruled that companies cannot fire employees for being “no fun”

I've had enough "No Mas" with the monthly DE&I meetings. Leave it at home, I really don't care what your pronoun is as long as you do your job. I don't care about the color of your skin, the texture of hair, the color of your eyes, who you're rooting for in FIFA or what's between your legs. That's your personal life, I have mine and I don't care to share it at work.

As a professor said in a business law class in college, "your rights end at the tip of my nose"

We have large turnover, outside pressures to change, and often low trust of management. These efforts feel bad because they are. You can’t build trust without listening and responding. Maybe they feel our youngest employees need these.

This is not a church. It’s a cantankerous old company. I’m not singing Kumbaya with anyone.
Besides, someone just won a very big lawsuit stating they don’t have to be fun at work. Did anyone else see that article?

Heh, our team has 2 all-staff meetings per week. It's ridiculous.
