Our team used to have pretty strong autonomy which drove thoughtful business decisions around how to serve our clients, with the support of our 2-up and 3-up management.
Over the past year this has changed drastically, we are subject to so many changes in our processes with no value added and cannot get a straight answer or reason from our direct managers on anything. Complete lack of transparency, while our managers are increasingly throwing around “transparency” as a buzzword.
It feels like our managers are being forced to blindly follow the new executives who are making everything up as they go along, the same managers that were highly trusted and well regarded by employees before the new execs came along.
Does anyone who is a manager care to chime in with their perspective on how their autonomy has been impacted under the new regime? I’m aware of the obvious changes such as RTO, performance rankings, etc. but it feels like there is so much more beneath the surface.
