Internal Audit RTO Strategy

PR had a meeting with most of the CADs and ADs to discuss the annual plan for 2023 a couple weeks back. They spent 30 minutes on how to get more people back in the office. They may comment in year end reviews about people not coming in to the office. No decision was made if not coming into the office would affect your year end comp. I suspect they are going to get heavier handed in 2023 when it comes to enforcing RTO.

there is a document drafted giving managers guidance that they "can" use RTO adherence in the evaluation and comp. there will be some mention in upcoming Manager Connections email and it will be added to TW perf mgt section. There is also some verbiage about employees who refuse to come into the office, the escalation of conversations and then ultimately potential disciplinary action including termination

What would I get - $5000 less because I didn’t do RTO? Still worth it to me.
If they want to play these silly games, I could work even slower. Just watch.

Elon doesn't candy coat anything. RTO or don't let your home office door hit you in the A** on your way to your home gym!

Go for it. Milk it for all you can. This company is in the toilet waiting to be flushed. No point quitting when you are getting virtually free money… Respectable companies get to wag their tail. This company needs to have the tail wagging the dog.

Don't care, not going in. I was hired remote and just because they want to change the narrative, doesn't mean I have to follow it. Does anyone really think they are going to get much if anything in bonus considering inflation and the housing market anyway? I can find another job tomorrow, might as well milk this for all it is worth.

Do what I do. Every time there’s a mandatory meeting, schedule PTO.

@ybg+1jD8B4sz they are also having us meet an AD for a "light breakfast" in our office. On the email invite they said it was "mandatory" unless you are on PTO or have a WFH accommodation.

funny, there is a section of first floor marked off as “Internal Audit” only and no matter what day is is, rarely do I see anyone. And if I do, its 2 or 3 people in section for 50

Yeah, well, intentionally being inefficient with your time and money isn't "exceeds" either. They talk a lot about production and work that supports the business etc., and then undermine all that with a completely arbitrary metric that had no bearing on anything other than ja--ing off the CEO/COO.

In my office they are making an audit director have a few of us at a time meet and have a light breakfast with them. Get this attendance is mandatory and it’s on Mondays so many are mad they have to change their usual day in the office. It is year end we are so busy wrapping up audits and now too bad go to breakfast.
An ASM at the water cooler said that they had a high performer and they were trying to say this person exceeds but Paul came back they average .5 days a week in office not an exceeds.
