Is today/this week the meetings for how much will be in the budget for merit increases? Details?

Changed from 200k to 250k this year.
So people that make over 200k base don’t get a merit increase? Wtf they just get bonus? Their only way to make more would be to get new role? I’m not at 200k yet but will be in next few years
I want more money so I can survive B_denflation
No van down by the river. Just can afford used tires with the merit "increase" and save up for the van some day.
Funny that some of you think middle managers have any input
23 years and I never saw anything over 3.5% and that was only when I was ready to quit and they decided to give me a little more to keep me. Expect nothing except a good sh-----g from behind and no reach-around.
RE "comp opens up next week in workday at which point managers can start entering their merit and bonus numbers and will see their overall budgets then."
Then, a day later, spineless middle managers will start to make managers change their entries and justify by making up stuff on at least 30% of the direct reports year end summaries so they can get inconsistently meets. Then, spineless middle managers will begin to practice the phrases they will use to pass the buck up the totem pole when surprised workers, who did their best, call to ask WTAF about the year end review. BUT, by that point, its too late... you get no merit and your bonus is one third. IF you have any sense, call you manager NOW and confirm whether or not they intend to rate you below meets. If they say no, and you get below meets in January... its because of the curve they must meet. Its why I quit. You should too.
hr is holding a comp review manager meeting today for the entire enterprise to go over the process, likely won't include budgets outside of if they changed the base cap for merit eligible which last year was set to 200. comp opens up next week in workday at which point managers can start entering their merit and bonus numbers and will see their overall budgets then.
In the 7 years of working at wf, my biggest increase was a 2% which equated to about $800 more annually, or about $0.30 more per hour on my hourly wage. The only way to get a bigger paycheck at wf is to change jobs. Glad they let me go, that stagecoach is breaking down big time.
Count on nothing. You won’t be disappointed.
No, not this week. Managers become aware of merit and bonus funding on the 16th.

Do you mean the van that you pulled out of the river?
Enough to afford a van down by the river.
Lets see how little we can give the peons so we can raise ours because of inflation. Chucky needs two non GMO organic turkeys for Thanksgiving
either this week or next....and....it might be an offsite!!
lets travel since we worked so hard to save money
