Verizon Global Services - Any predictions?

I'm curious if the impacted employees' employer legal entity will change on Jan 1? That would indicate some sort of manipulation of assets (ie transferring assets across legal entities) or accounting re-baselining.

I also think they realized they can't make money with their current business plan.

GTS being moved to a corporate org is really curious... so Verizon India (mostly developers) in the same org as real estate, public policy and supply chain.

I'm guessing there will be a bunch more announcements, including the Chief Strategy Officer being shown the door... or replacing Kyle... who knows these days.

RIF our CIO and at least 50% of his executive team. They are total overhead and a drag on the bottom line.

GTS is the model for offshoring. Wireline started it, and brought it to Wireless (who had resisted it for years). Now it will be brought to the other areas as well.

Replace Kyle. He is just a bully from NJ. Should rather work for the Sopranos instead.

Whatever they do, make it public. If it’s above board, then they should have no issue laying it out in the sunlight. If what they are doing is shady, anti-American, etc. they need to be held to account. Make it all PUBLIC.

They're outsourcing everything. Goodbye Customer Service. They just hired a bunch of Supervisors last month to travel internationally to Customer Service locations train in the vendor centers.

Yes: that many pension funds will demand a house cleaning at the board and c suite levels because of the threat that they pose to CFFO and the strength of the dividend. Almost all of VZs board comprises PC or globalist sinecure for favored ones.

GTS is already mostly a corporate org and used to be in a similar situation (shared services) prior to 2.0.
