I remember when the CEO's butler came up with the power of & and then marketing used it without paying the butler anything!
A small group of whiners trying to create drama. The rest of us doing our job.
All T threads simplified…
- There will always be jobs at T.
- There will always be layoffs every quarter, when and where you least expect it.
- Leadership is suspect.
- Company direction is as clear as mud.
- Competition is eating T’s lunch.
- Benefits are disappearing.
- T is in 3rd place among 3 industry players.
- Change for the mere sake of change happens every 12-18 months with no results.
- Micromanagement increases as trust erodes.
- Overloaded debt is crippling to growth.
- Cash flow no longer contributes to investment, it only covers the credit card bills.
- T will diversify into hot tubs with an unlimited data plan.

OP, forgetaboutit. There is no business as usual at AT&T. You have never seen debt like this, you have never seen poor leadership like this, you have never seen T shares tanking like this.

Yes, I remember Randall bragging about how rethink possible came about.
No joke, rethink possible came from one of Randall's kids. The family was sitting in the living room on a Sunday afternoon. They decided to play a game to come up with the new catchphrase at T. One of the kids came up with rethink possible. Not sure if any compensation was provided.
When SBC bought ATT someone came up with the concept of naming the company at&t so that the public would think ATT was friendly. Ha! Then someone came up with “Rethink Possible “. Ha! How about just treating the customers like kings and queens and the employees like gold. That is where is is at ! So all you high and mighty upper management peeps should just shut up and cherish the real people that make this company tick. That would be real Woke !
