Any news from Nordics? I know Benelux has been hit too. Still waiting for update on France and Italy .
CX seems to be the main victim, with a lot of sales being made redundant, SE ( except fusion app), but also mkt, CSM, program and consulting .

Dublin-based people: 24th of October the individual 2-week consultation will end; it will be followed by 4 weeks of paid garden leave. On the 25th of November people of the affected teams are been terminated.
Spain-based people: people who will be made redundant already know who that it is only a matter of time. They live in the uncertainty. The lack of communication is just unbelievable. And if you think that the teams affected are only those non productive, that have been around for a long time with unproductive result, or not in revenue-generating role, think twice. I am not ready to disclose more, but I certainly will in the next 4 weeks.

It’s not been reversed they’re just working through the consultation period. Their jobs are at risk but they’ve not officially been let go yet. Those who receive notice after the consultation period will be let go, so some of those impacted could potentially be working for a while yet, and some might even end up staying.

Ireland impacted employees still working as normal. What’s going on? Is the decision reversed?

In ireland its consultation period and then they will inform impacted people. its around 7% of Ireland workforce. 75 in total. Mostly CX but within CX different teams and Maximyser, Eloqua, cloudtwist etc

They will likely need to tie some countries to a consultation period. It would make more sense 1 Oct 2022 to play to either a 15 or 30 day rule based on countries having different rules. It is complicated trying to do this outside of payroll periods and dates and we have passed 1st Sept. It also lets CloudWorld whatever that ends up being pass…

15th October makes little sense to me. Mass layoffs a couple of days before CloudWorld wouldn't be a good look. There would be people in EMEA that have registered and are expected to attend, only to find out just as they head out to Vegas that they're being laid off. In the UK (and possibly other countries) there would be a consultation period required (and this is often not worked). So they could theoretically end up being at CloudWorld knowing that when they get back, there's no job for them to go to. What's the point in that?

I'm not saying it won't happen, I'm just interested to know where that info is coming from, as I've heard similar rumours about October.

Oct 15 is another riff day, everyone is aware… It’s mind numbing. Good people, who work flipping hard.. Not ok. I get that we should all move on. Easier for some more than others. I wish everyone good health of the mind and body.

No need to worry, EMEA is the safest region for workers.

Naive but what makes you think we are going to be hit now and to be completed by mid-October?
