You offer some constructive criticism and everybody either wants to bite your head off or runs off crying. I was trying to be helpful but now I'm done. I already saw one person get in trouble for doing something I tried to tell them should not be done that way. Why is it so hard to listen to people who've been here much longer and have more experience?

Mind your own business 🫵
It’s always the co worker that probably steals your work and doesn’t do nothing.
Stay in your lane. Unless you are their leader, it isn’t your place to give “constructive criticism.”
Let me add some thoughts to this line . I deal with same issues daily . I have one coworker who thinks and treats me so poorly it borders abuse . Nothing I can do about it as I have a do nothing manager . This was going on before layoff threat . Bottom line people are crazy .
The threat of extensive layoffs is very stressful for people. People are also still stressed from dealing with the Covid epidemic. Waiting to be laid off for months and months does affect your ability to react appropriately. I would try to give people a pass right now. If everyone is still super stressed out after the layoff announcements are done in October then that’s another issue.
