The problem is now everywhere
When American wants to keep jobs for American, it is discrimination
But when India and China want to keep jobs for their own, it is not a problem
I believe for most U.S. employees, it's not a race issue. It's an issue with being sold out by your nation, in the name of profit. WFC doesn't even do business in India, why should we be employing people to work there? If the C level want to profit from exploitation of cheaper labor, they can move their too.
I can confirm that managers are being told to actively seek to hire more in Indian to increase the percentage of workers in India and less in the US to reduce costs.
It's so interesting how many people talk of how much they hate or dislike other people just "because". No wonder the world is in such a state of disrepair. Maybe all of those who have something negative to say about another should grab a mirror and say it to the reflection, because that's who it really should be directed at. Grow up.
@1vgg+1iiKv1Ea Let's stay on topic i.e. North America. Thanks.
China and India combined account for roughly 25% the population of the planet.
"White people" (myself included) barely crack 5%.
all this stupid talk, the IT in Norwest was more diverse than it is today.
It's not all in the numbers, though.
As more and more projects are being led by managers based outside of the US, I see offshore becoming important.
At least some onshore staff may soon report to bosses overseas.
20% of the workforce is in india and that = indian company. Interesting.
wells fargo is no longer an american company and it isnt a global company. It is an indian company. This move to have all agile teams be co-located will be changed to have them all be co-located in india in 2-3 years. no lie.
