So tech bsa’s are on a short leash?
I like Saul. He's at least got the guts to hold these AMA sessions, knowing that his audience is skeptical after being mislead by so many previous generations of managers.
But the fact that I like him doesn't mean that I trust him.
Trust needs to be earned. It's not automatic because of anybodies position within the company. Any high level manager has a higher standard that they must attain before I can trust them.
When will he move on somewhere else and take Charlie with him… and the rest of “glorious” C-Suite? My guess, all these elites have hiring bonus/golden parachutes tight to 4 or 5 years of service (this is just a guess). So another 2-3 years of this misery…. This doesn’t mean that whoever are next will be better though….
Saul does a good job and is very open with information.
Employers will do whatever is in their best interest, and employees should do the same.
Saul and Chintan are a joke. They have no sense of self awareness and in meetings with smaller audiences are complete bullies.
Especially Chintan who has pretty much risen up the ranks by playing buzzword bingo and bullying his way thru.
"Thank you for that question" (while I take a sip of my coffee)
Would love to pressure them into voluntary displacement. I’m ready. Send me down the river…with a package.
Every C-Suite coconut gets a golden parachute…. Why can’t we get a little something for our time?
Over the years Wells Fargo has always mentioned inflation is low when it came time for a raise.
Those glasses, say it all... i'm a smug azzhole who wears silly glasses and cares very little about how inflation affects you.
Lol @ thinking he would say what areas beforehand. He just said layoffs will continue to happen
What did he say about displacements? Any areas? I missed that part I guess.
Wish I could watch. My stream never works for these events.
Yeah the inflation question if just cringe-worthy coming from a US engineering team. Just comes across as really entitled. You are almost certainly doing fine despite inflation.
Thoughts if RELO initiative is back on the table since it stopped due to covid?
So no cost of living raise because inflation is slowing down and if you make more than X dollars you don't need a cost of living raise...just suck it up and move on. What a joke...hey Saul what is your bonus going to look like this year...got a new boat bookmarked for your bonus?
Rook him long enough to say no COLA. Oh, gas prices dropped a few cents so all is good.
Location strategy coming back got get the dead weight who work from home full time on board with the RTO. 5 days a week just like apple
"Having our management determine if jobs/skills are transferable to new openings is a joke. Managers don't care enough to perform this function."
I had this happen to me. Woke up one day and was sent to a new team I knew nothing about.
Consultants, you don't add value, and most of you know it. Be honest, don't even lie - go get a product job if you can!
Jeff - we've talked about inflation many times...we don't care if you aint poor.
RTO is really working at his location....smh.. Only one person on the floor and most of the lights are off.
So the "Bank" will decide if a person has need for a COLA? Adjustments based on need.
Having our management determine if jobs/skills are transferable to new openings is a joke. Managers don't care enough to perform this function.
More displacements? wtf
