There is no rhyme or reason as to who is going to get riffed since it is very political, and managers shield themselves.

Get the he-l out of there; best thing I did 5 years ago. Got a brand new career with one of the leading competitors making almost 2x the money and working from home. All I can say is ohana baby.

Get out; it will save what ever morales you once had in trust for an employeer, not matter where you go.

And after 20 years of working with oracle tech stack and products; I don't touch the stuff anywhere and shy away from it as much as possible for other competitors products to fill the gaps of oracle junk. Thety have been screwing their customers for decades with their deceptive license practices, i know had to read them and fix them; and just get rid of them.

Anyway it does not hear to leave and will only hurt you long term as your career will not prosper long term.

Game? Actually yes, games and badges are about the only thing my fuggtardded VP communicates about any more. MG from AppsUL, useless is way too generous of a description for you. Oracle is a dump.

Think of Oracle as a landscaper. They take vibrant plants(acquired company) and systematically trim them (profit). Once the maintenance is above their threshold they are ready for another to be planted(acquisition). The remnants of the plant are discarded(RIF’s). Not about growing from seed(development, training). Just about reaping immediate gratification(profit). They will survive as long as there are new plants to be purchased. People are mere resources to keep the plants alive and reap profits until another plant is purchased. People are zero’s and one’s. True “Human Resources” so yeah… they suck and if you think the abusive relationship will somehow get to a turning point where Larry say’s “I’ve made a terrible mistake, people are the most important part of Oracle”. Dream on, I know he is, in a tropical paradise built on the hard work of others.
