How long to hear back for internal job interview

Is there something wrong with HR I interviewed for an internal position over a month ago, I have heard they made a decision on a candidate.
So wtf?

Recruiting is a cluster. I've run into the same thing-- apply for a position, then not even get an interview even though I have more experience than what is required and most (if not all) of the desired experience. And this is for a lateral.

I've contacted hiring managers and what they told me is that they were filled even though they're still listed as open. by the way, positions that still show up in workday also will show if it's filled. So what's happening is the job is filled but they're not updating the posting.

And as noted elsewhere, C next to a recruiter is they're a contractor and you can't do squat to contact them.

If you are hearing back and getting interview then you are doing better than me. I don’t have the DNA profile to get a phone screen.

All I know is that recruiters are trying to avoid lateral backfills.

Is there a status that will change after interview to know you got the job? Like processing?

Super slow process. Applied and had 3 interviews over a 6 week timeframe. Two week after my final interview I was told they are no longer filling the position.

There is a posting that has been open since June. It was filled a few weeks ago and still listed like it’s open. This is for a lateral team I know was hiring. I don’t know what is going on in HR but it wasn’t like this before Workday. HR has always been slow to hire but an open position for 3 months that is filled? I feel bad for those that applied and don’t know.

If your an internal candidate the hiring manager should contact you.

I applied for a role about 6 months ago with about 5-7 "interviews". It's still "in process". This is the slowest moving company I have seen.

Lol - I have been flat out ghosted by our internal recruiters on positions I applied

I’m ok to accept if I wasn’t selected but shady for not a courtesy response after not moving forward

Do not apply if the recruiter has a C next to it. You will be drawing your 401k before you hear back from them. I have 8 in review all over 4 weeks. Going to aim for 15 in the next two weeks.
