Continuation job application experience

I have applied to countless internal roles. I got an exceeds and am a senior lead. I ran the numbers and most roles closed out and a few were filled, but shockingly half were still open going back to march. I now give the recruiter 3 weeks and withdraw. No need for insult upon injury.

This ought to be downvoted into the oblivion.

On what scale are you referring to associate mgr and senior lead IC being equal? I am a senior IC (two levels below senior lead) and make double what an associate mgr in my workgroup does.

Sr. Lead X, depending on the role is on par with a Principle for other roles. Just a different job family.

Senior lead is equivalent to associate manager. An IC role would be principle.

Dang - you’re a senior lead level?! Nice work.

What types of jobs are you going for? Principal IC or executive level mgr would be promotions I’m guessing (director mgr probably lateral) so I would imagine any role at that level will already have people in mind, and if you’re applying for “countless of them” then you may have a rep another senior executive level people that are hurting you from getting any of these jobs at this point.

But then again, I’m a senior level IC so I’m so far below you it’s not even funny. Feel free to mail me with feedback on how wrong I am.

Withdrawing might be part of the issue. It used to be (many, many years ago) that a withdrawal was viewed negatively. I forget how it was phrased, but basically something along the lines of if you withdraw, it takes you out of the running for similar jobs.
