"HR coms at face value." what about the phishing emails from HR? You know, the ones that get you poor ratings on your review? We've had these BCP things in the past and do a test, ONCE A YEAR! Not every other week! Paranoid or wishful thinking? Layoffs are coming bruh

And they are not doing from HR they are coming from the Enterprise Resiliency planners. Please comply
STOP BEING PARANOID. Those communications are required because it is a BCP requirement. They must be able to reach you on your person cell or email if there is a REAL EVENT. It has nothing to do with layoffs. if you are tied to a Resiliency plan you will be notified to update your information routinely. Bengaluru waterlogging could not go to office people were notified. Fires pandemics. Just complete the request and take HR coms at face value.
In the past week or so there has been a big push to keep your contact info up to date in workday, cell #, home #, personal email. There have been emails and I must have heard this in 3 meetings this past. All under guise of business continuity planning. BCP, code for layoffs!
It's usually Tuesdays and Thursdays...if you receive a last minute meeting invite from your mgr for either of those mornings it could be bad news....
Various. If you were out yesterday.
It's Friday, so I know it's unlikely, but it doesn't hurt to check.
