Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

I didn't complete a survey, and my

Manager was notified. He sends me an email asking me to take five minutes to complete the survey. Shouldn't that be optional? Why notify my manager that I didn't complete a useless survey?

Employee survey and (not completing) compliance training lists are lists you don't want to be on.

They know who has completed and who hasn't. Just do it even if you just answer neutral on everything for the survey. They aren't going to do sh*t about it anyway.

you need to complete the survey. Not doing so now that your manager has informed you is cause for at will termination and no severance. play by the rules

I told my manager I did not do the survey when I gave notice, so he would know any bad rating did not come from me. I was expecting to throw management under the bus in the "Exit Survey," but HR never sent the link. Suspicious.

If we cant ask customers about the survey, management should not ask employees about survey

It is confidential but the managers receive a list of numbers that completed the survey. If you're on a smaller team, they can probably figure it out.

It makes the people running the survey feel powerful to boss people around.

Plus, they want to see whether you are an undesirable. If you don't complete the survey, then they don't know, do they?

All survey data is completely and entirely anonymous.

Oh, no. That's not quite right. It's completely CONFIDENTIAL.

CONFIDENTIAL means only 1000 other people in the company can see your results. 500 of them can track it down to you, specifically.

Now, about that survey, when will it be completed?
