"Work Area Security" seminar (HOW STUPID)

This is the most stupid thing and totally contradicts the *&^!@%%! RTO program going on since the beginning of this year.

Actual quotes from the seminar:
"Open Work Areas - Open work areas increase visibility and potential RISK."
"Position your computer screen so that others cannot easily read it"

Ya just can't make this stuff up folks! Anyone that has been back to an office knows that they're mostly ALL open areas with lower cube walls...AND that the computer connections (screens, docking station, etc.) are all in the corner of the cube AS you walk in - so the computer screens naturally face the opening of the cube or open area.

Does one hand even know what the other hand is doing here in this crazy-a$$ COMPANY???

No more cables either so if you go use the restroom, you may get your computer stolen.

Future Lawsuits......keep a link of the "training" to use as a reference of knowledge of the risk

It's obvious the security of company secrets was deliberately ignored in open space shared seating...this has been written about for years as a risk...but..you know the current management must be smarter than the write ups of many other risk departments...cause gee...they are so smart...
