What’s the best way to make a clean cut? Like what are the logistics? I’m not really interested in working two more weeks. Can I just send an email and turn off my computer?

Yes, you can send an email and then disappear. i did exactly that two years ago. HR will send you a letter in the mail with instructions on how to return your equipment, if you have any WF equipment at your house. I am sure that this action put me on the "do-not-rehire" list, but since I already worked there 15 years, I do not plan on returning.
I'm sure you want to quit immediately because you are burnt out. Handing in a resignation with a two week notice will make you feel amazing. Leave on a good note, give the two weeks. You'll still have a great two weeks because you'll know you are leaving. Trust me; my last two weeks were the best weeks at WF.
Put in my 2 weeks on the 9th so just 2 more days for me. It's basically 2 weeks of PTO or at least very little work. Why not burn your actual PTO before putting in your 2 weeks? I didn't have enough foresight to do this. Had 3.5 weeks to use.
I’ve been considering to do the same because I’m so burnt out I don’t think I have it in me to help transition
It's a small F'ing world - give them 2 weeks notice. You never want to burn bridges...
I gave verbal and written notice 2.5 weeks in advance, expecting to be cut off the
next day and getting a free vacation like the last guy. Nope. They made me work to the last second while slowly cutting my access off and ability to do work. The last few days I was locked out of everything except email and Workday. Felt like I left in a fizzle.
No one asked where I was going, like to a competitor.
Baby just quit today. Right now. Get up and leave, don’t say a word. Sh-t, don’t even LoCk Ur WoRkStAtIoN and bounce outta this dump. Unemployment check got u.
If you're leaving for a competitor, they'll probably say that you're good on the two weeks.
Otherwise, maybe your mom can hold your hand into a meeting with your manager to discuss for you
Just walk away. It doesn't sound like your position is important enough to warrant something more formal
You COULD submit a written letter of resignation, effective immediately, but that would probably mean throwing away 2 weeks of free pay, so I'm not sure why anyone would. You do you OP, but my guess is if you submitted a 2 week they'd send you home immediately anyway.
Run, gurl, run!
If it’s toxic get the frick out asap and take a break. Wells is sad
You an write up a resignation letter and make it “effective immediately”. There’s even a manager HR article for when someone quits “effective immediately” verbally. I wouldn’t go that route though, manager can say whatever they want about you then.
I would draft an email, send it to your manager, cc your HR business partner and bcc your personal email address. Keep it short, professional and pretty much on point for if you had given the 2 weeks.
Good luck in your post-Stagecoach endeavors.
Send an email to your boss. In the subject line just say RESIGNATION.
In the body say
Notice of resignation effective (that day’s date).
Turn off your computer, lock it in a drawer and leave. Make sure it’s secure.
Of course you must be in the office to do this.
Technically you accrue if you work at least one day a month. Sometimes it's the 1st, but not always. If you returned from a LOA on the 10th, that's the day you'd accrue your PTO for that month.
@twd+1iPNG16g You should never, ever p-e on your boss's desk when you can p-e on your boss. Don't be a fool.
There’s a chance they decline your offer of two weeks notice. On the other hand, if your last day is Oct 1st you get a little more vacation payout if you haven’t already used too much PTO. You accrue PTO on the first of each month. My last day was last Oct 1st.
Right to work works both ways. We don't give you notice, why should you?
P-e on your boss's desk.
