Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Another week without layoffs

I don't know why people keep stressing over this when most of the time there are no layoffs.

WARN pertain to significantly largte layoffs. The last layoff we had it was done to less than 10% of our staff. So no notice was needed. There were other layoffs by Wells at about the same time, but I heard nothing about use of WARN. It must depend on how things add up, and probably percentage-wise.

There were multiple layoffs this week yet again. Many states are required to post layoff notices 60 days before the layoff date. It’s called the WARN Act. Public information.

There will be many gone by mid-October. All of the business lines are doing things differently. RTO has F'd things up a bit. But Prince Charles (now King, of course) has a job to do.
