It is so funny to see all of these negative comments surrounding unions. I would definitely support a union if I had the chance to vote for one. From my personal experience as well as the experience of a lot of my family members, unions have always been a good thing. The two unions I was a part of in my former career always did an excellent job of getting the employees more money and benefits. The dues were well worth it and were covered ten times over by the increases I received. As for this Jessie person, if people don't like her, then they wouldn't vote for her to represent them. Problem solved.

Just imagine trying to get a job anywhere else while explaining you were part of a white collar union

You would be laughed out the door

Just imagine if we could all live rent-free in that one guy's head the way Jessie McCool apparently does, then we wouldn't even need a union!

Jessie McCool can go over to Starbucks where she can rally the workers to unionization for all I care. Well Fargo is not perfect, but the corruption that unions bring and the costly dues are enough ugly thoughts for one day.

Just want I need, more money taken out of my paycheck that didn't earn it. On the other hand, if they could ki-l the madness of RTO, it would probably be worth it. FRTO.

Would we be able to opt out? I’m not excited about giving up pay and opportunities so my coworkers get to call out sick even more than they already do

Also our min pay is 20/hr. If you can’t make it on that, it isn’t Wells Fargo’s fault, look back on the bad decisions you’ve made instead that got your expenses so high. Stop blaming others.

For as long as I can remember, this bank has been pretty good about covering things up until they get caught. Though, once they do get caught, they’re pretty good at reversing things. Will be interesting to see if the employees can pull off a union. Of course there will be dues. We live in the world where we pay to play.

Probably good for the employee as compensation is low, overly subjective, and inconsistently applied at the whim of mgnt and HR. Dont agree a union will stop or control the $57MM going to senior mgmt or protect the customer. Doent a union require payment of dues?

Not sure those people in the video are real Wells Fargo employees. Actors, maybe?
