If the instruction was to ask other managers, then ask his/her boss for some work. You are basically following your manager’s instructions as they didn’t say to ask their peers. :)

I told my manager I was slow and needed more work. He told me to contact OTHER managers in the department to tell them I was available.

Okay, but isn’t that what we have managers for? To make sure work is evenly distributed? What do these expensive suits actually do? We write our own performance reviews, so it isn’t that.

I really wish you didn't work for my company. I feel like we have a ton of toxic employees. I come to work everyday and do my best. Could things be better? Sure.

To the people who work 10% a week, this is why management makes it untolarable, thinking you will quit. Management is terrible, I am overloaded because they can count on me to get things done, and I have peers who barely do anything every week. Instead of managing a low performer, because it is a pain and takes a long time, management just let's it slide as long as they have people like me who perform. Then they wonder why we want to leave.

We just make rich people richer….

I don't even know why they pay me. I basically do nothing all week. Maybe 10 hours of work max.
