Not enough information to say either way, though I would lean towards upgrades. If you're selling, the official SQ ft numbers / dims of the site are sufficient for the task. The only real purpose of physically measuring is to confirm prints are correct in preparation for some kind of upgrade. Plans are inaccurate more often than you'd think, so it's one of the steps you do early in the upgrade process to confirm that whatever you're planning to do won't have any issues.

Surveyed as in a surveyor comes out for measurements, not a questionnaire.

What kind of questions are on the survey? Sounds like a waste as most of the things suggested in replies could be ascertained from system data - no need for surveys.

It’s possible theyre looking to add kiosks or convert your branch into a neighborhood branch (like a paired down neighborhood walmart). If they are surveying to figure out numbers like traffic to the branch, that’s what could be going on.

Not for closures.

They know where the branches are.

did your branch already get its steel-reinforced front door installed? most were put in two years ago, when "covid" started.

this two things are related.

Well, why would you need to survey if they were closing? They just close it.

@oml why is it "wrong?" Branches are obsolete and huge money suck for the org. It's silly we have so many of them in 2022

What's a 'branch'?

Is that those things you drive by with the Wells Fargo sign on it?

(A billboard would be cheaper.)

I doubt we'll get any responses in this thread. That shows you how much people care about branches. I know it's wrong but it's a fact
