Anyone KNOW if PTO counts towards your RTO for the week?

At one point the FAQs said they wanted people in office 60% of the time. It was a specific question that was answered back when they were being “transparent”. That answer has been removed. For me personally, I absolutely count PTO and holidays as office days. Then again, my average in-office time is well below 60% each week.

I don’t believe there is a policy on this. It’s probably up to manager.

So you ask here, get a variety of answers and so you will pick one and then what?

Boss: You haven’t been consistently making your RTO numbers, you review is ____

You: i thought PTO and Holidays counted as in office

Boss: who told you that?

You: Anonymous User @1pbj on layoff.com

Boss: ………

Gotta ask here because my boss rarely replies to anything I ask her, if I can get ahold of her at all. We gotta beg her to do her job so we can make our deliverable times that if we miss will be held against us.

I thought it did too. But then told this week it doesn’t. Even though we were told next week we only needed to come in 2 days due to Holiday. Inconsistent if you ask me

I read people saying on here that it did, but my boss said no, and that we are supposed to have established days in the office, rather than a flexible 3-day requirement. I called HR and they told me it was up to LOB (probably level 2-ish) and that there wasn’t a consistent rule.

Ask your manager, look on Teamworks or call HR. Drives me crazy when people use this site for stupid stuff like this.

It is much better to ask anonymous than it is to ask your manager. I know if i want a conclusive answer this is where i come to ask.

It does. Pto and holidays count as a day in the office. You should check with your line of business to confirm
