Did they get severance pay? If so sounds like many will enjoy their summer and get paid for not working in the cess pool
Just got my notice along with others. Massive cuts at Atlanta HQ. Mainly a culling of the older employees.
I work in ATL. What do you consider Atlanta HQ. What do you define as Massive. Almost dead silence on this board - please give us more details.
I call BS on this post - because you mentioned moving to Cricket. You are simply looking for attention by mentioning a layoff in addition to wanting to move to Cricket when you know it is ATT. If you don’t know that Cricket is ATT, you probably deserve to be let go.
Are layoffs happening on office days or WFH days?
I think it's confusing since service reps are never allowed to proactively mention Cricket as an available option or service when customers with credit issues are at an AT&T store or contact customer service.
I'm having a difficult time learning that many of T employees don't even know that Cricket is owned by T. When T acquired it, it became the non-contract part of T mobility. If you're in the business, you should already know this. Shame on you for not knowing and being an ATT employee!
