My manager says that they can see who is not coming in by name now and this person is by no means on the top of the food chain. I can't tell if they are BSing or if the reports are that detailed as before it just showed the percentage of people coming in for how many days for that team. Stay safe out here.

They would have known this all along. There are badge reports that show who went where and when.
This should not be a surprise.
Was just told I was on a list of people who haven’t been in the office in a few weeks. I’ll go in tomorrow so I won’t appear in the next distribution. I’m glad we are paying teams to monitor this since it contributes so much to the bottom line. Sarcasm.
How do you transfer the badges to each other?
My group has a rotation set up where one person goes to the office, but carries everyone's badges and swipes us all in. Then the next week somebody else has the rotation.
We really do go into the office on one day per week, but it's just so we can exchange badges. It works good.
It's good that they are tracking. Now they can see when I do hardly anything in office, but knock S out while at home. Go for it big brother tracker, note all that water cooler time and send the data right up the CEOs @$$.
lots of buildings where you don't have to swipe out. I can swipe in, squat in an empty office all day then leave without swiping out. and each badge reader has a unique id and is associated to a unique location so they have a general idea where I am
How to completely confuse the process. Swipe into your building. If you're in an area with guest wifi or public wifi bleeding into the building, or if you don't care to use data on your phone, connect to the VPN via that service. It will show you in the building, but connecting remotely. It's important that you have to swipe out of the building to confirm you are in the building.
reports to the individual name have been available since AT LEAST 2018. They were used to plan conversions to hot desk facilities and who would get to keep a permanent seat.
Bunch of ding dongs. Most people have no idea how they track. I work in IT and yes, IT is affected. Within 10 minutes my manager can run a report that shows who is working from home and who is remote, and it has nothing to do with swipes.. Swipes in a non WF building is a pain in the ar-e and is not being used much at all. Time for all to wake. Oh and I luv the comment to just go in, log in for two hours and go home. LOL, they can track how many hours you are logged in on a vpn server or at the office. Now, do they really care, I doubt it unless they need to get rid of X amount of people in a LOB.
In my area they've stopped tracking for the most part for now
The neighborhood tracking is bs. They don’t have that great detail. They could tell what floor you might be on but neighborhood… no
How do I claim my check?
Go to office, swipe you badge. Work there for 2 hrs and come back home.
They've been doing this for weeks. Where have you been?
wf treats their employees like children because many of them act like children.
I'm 75 miles from the nearest WF location, have stopped caring any more than anyone else, and am just marking time until I retire. Go ahead and "report" me.
There was a dashboard created, up and running before RTO.
All of that information has been available from the beginning.
Perhaps they are now allowing lower level managers see it. Even so, if you haven't shown up since RTO started, the evidence of such is stored.
Wells Fargo treats it's employees like children! It's patently disgusting.
My boss lives 100+ miles from any WF center. I’ll take my chances. 😂
We can all access badge reports from guardian.
Who cares? The managers aren't in the office and I don't really care anymore. Fire me.
Managers have been receiving reports for weeks. They know how many times you come in and what cubicle neighborhood you log into.
It’s true that they are tracking badge swipes.
We’re getting checks to show up now? Sweet!!!! SHOW ME THE MONEY
Who cares really? Fire me please.
