Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

After 14 years...

...still riding the Wells Fargo train.

Money is very good.

I’ve had some awesome experience so far. I've had some sh itty ones.

No company is perfect, period -- I’ve come to terms with that long time ago.

I left WF after 15 years. Felt ghosted by leadership the moment I announced I’m leaving.

I don't get to ride in the stagecoach and have to sit on one of the smelly horses that seem to sh-t a lot.

Very similar for me as well, and I've never been confused for an a-s kisser either. Ignore the haters. They wouldn't be happy no matter where they work. I just like the idea of making money and retiring someday.

"very good" when it comes to money is very relative.

$100K/year may be plenty for someone (my base is $66K so I'd be 'very happy' with 100K), but I know some investment bankers who are unhappy if they are not in seven figures.

I'm not successful and I'm not paid well, so that means nobody can be happy and paid well

Dear “Riding, After 14 years,”
I’m sad for you. You’ll eventually figure out that there’s no loyalty with this s#it company and they have sucked you dry of energy and self respect without giving you anything in return. Your last day will be a surprise and you won’t have the opportunity to say goodbye to your colleagues. There’s no graciousness at ANY level. They keep the goldmine and YOU get the shaft.
