I'm okay with going back to the office. I'm also okay with going back to the levels of productivity that come with less sleep, more distractions, and zero desire to do anything outside of my regular hours. I'm not sure how loss in productivity (not just from me, but so many more) works in their favor, but I'm sure they thought of everything when they decided on this move. Right?

For those who really want to work the 2nd job, going into the office isn't much a hindrance, specially when most aren't collocated with their team. T's regressive policies will only encourage people to be more creative, just part of the culture of apathy and payback.
Because just like everyday society these days…all it takes is one bad apple to ruin it for everybody!! Too many WFH people got caught double dipping…working a second WFH job. Corporate America has been tuned in and this is an “behind the curtains” fix that corporate America is in lockstep with. Rather soon, they will again show us who is in power and prove that the “prisoners” are not running the asylum!

No ne argues with this. This is why RTO is being prioritized.
You are really not more productive from home. You know it and leadership definitely knows it. It's time to refocus on your contributions to T and not personal gain.
I love working from home, don't lose 11/2 hrs daily, spent driving. My productivity is good. Btw the company can figure out who's working and who's not, Spyware on the p.c. I am nearing retirement, I don't want to hear useless chatter, I prefer my music all day, and take care of business.
Easy to get around, just keep calling in sick with a fever & sore throat.
Funny thing, we tell corporate clients that our network will enable their workforce to work from anywhere. Just don't count on using our own employees as a success story.
I happen to agree, but here's the thing:
They don't care about your productivity or lack of productivity.
They have mandated we get back in the office.
So either do that, or leave.
Stop talking about it, because no one cares.
I think I speak for all gen Z and millenials. We telecommute or we quit, put that in your pipe and smoke it! Stankey and all baby boomers are so an-l, lighten up francis.
