If T is serious about honoring diversity why don't they honor Juneteenth as a paid holiday on Monday. It gets old, the way Stankey and c-suite are always harping about discrimination at T, yet they keep amazingly silent on Juneteenth. This should be a sanctioned paid holiday at T, why not now?

T is not serious about diversity just pandering for a higher ESG rating.
Execs are all old rich white guys with a few token women. Tech is all Indian dudes. No room for much else except maybe call center.
I just want my 65% commission pay cut reversed. My income was 20k less last year. This company does NOT care about juneteenth don't let the diversity officers video fool you. They ask us to review our managers but they can see who wrote what. Mgmnt is a fraternity, ARSM shouldn't even be a position. There are so many things wrong w this disgusting CO. They don't care about employees and def don't care about customers. Most of the issues have a simple solution, but until someone blows the whistle it won't change.
Just wow! Talk about the tail wagging the dog. I don't need or want anymore paid holidays, but I'll take my week of vacation that Santone and Stankey stole.

Clearly no one here realizes Juneteenth was made a NATIONAL holiday in 2021. For that reason we should have the day off. I’d be okay having another holiday as long as we don’t have to loose a vacation day to do it.
We, me and my people fought hard for this holiday, why shouldn't we get it? How does this differ from the 4th of July? Think about it.
Like somene else mentioned, "Black History Month" is an entire month that is dedicated. Pride month (LGBTQ) is an entire month dedicated to those persons. They are the only groups of persons that get an entire month of celebration/recognition.
Enough already… Feb is black history month… MLK day in Jan… just how many days do we have to allocate to make one group feel special? No other group demands such special attention. At one time or another every ethnic group in history was enslaved. It was how the world worked. Time to move on…

why didn't you raise issue when the 2022 company Holidays were announced?
Juneteenth holiday is to celebrate I&D overall. It's in the middle of Pride Month so if it's going to celebrate a different minority group it needs to support all of the minority groups.
I’n late 2020, They took away 1 week of vacation from 20 years or more management employees to pay for new holidays off for MLK, Veterans Day and Day after thanksgiving which we had off 15 years ago. Here’s some insight- IT actually coded to have off MLK in 2020 before the riots but Rattie and Stank& leadership passed on it saying it would cost too much . So they only gave off MLK off starting in 2021 after the riots.
I think 2022 they added mlk as a paid day off for all union people.
