If there is, I haven't seen it. I think T is in great shape moving forward without DTV and WM. I don't see any need for layoffs, let attrition run its course.

Still hoping for a layoff
I would agree that T is in a much better position without DTV and TW, but it still needs to get leaner in order to compete with VZ and TMOB. 200k plus employees on the payroll is just not going to cut it in the long term. T might be compelled to clean house now that a recession is looming.
Dreamer Att keeps too many employees on hand for who knows what reason maybe to work strikes work knows but there will always be surplus it is how Att manages.
Bargained for employees are way too valuable to the company at this time, therefore, we probably will not be seeing any occupational layoffs for quite some time or at least for the next couple of years.
Today was the day for any quarterly layoff announcements for bargained employees, but I haven’t heard any info on surpluses for any of the districts.
