We have many mid-level managers and employees on East Coast leave and join Ally. I have heard good things about the culture over there. Anyone have opinions on working there? What are your experiences?

Pay sucks
Charlotte is nice. Ally is nice, small, doesn't pay well.
I know several people that work at Ally.
One friend of mine, former WF, is a Director there. They seam to have a good culture and are customer and employee centric. Engaged senior leadership and CEO. Very into DE&I from what I hear and see.
I am sure you are serious in your comments but since you said "Very into DEI" I would never consider the company. DEI is one of the worst things that has happened to corporate America.
Aren't these glassdoor.com questions? Check out their reviews, and decide for yourself. Better yet, just apply. Couldn't hurt.

I bank online there. They are much more customer-centric than WFC, their management is much more progressive (led the way in stopping overdraft fees), they pay among the highest interest rates on accounts vs WFC paying among the lowest, US citizens answer the phones. App is user-friendly and logical.
Ally is all around a much better-managed bank, so hopefully that translates in to being a much better place to work.
Does ally offer full time remote?
Here we go again....
Dude, seriously, just apply to these companies. If you don't have an offer in hand, then how the company is will not matter.
